PremiAir Racing Eyes Adelaide as Ojeda’s Finals Push Enters Critical Phase
For PremiAir Racing, the 2026 Adelaide Grand Final carries extra significance and not just because it’s Australian motorsport’s ultimate season finale.
Jayden Ojeda currently sits 132 points outside the top 10 in the championship standings, with the Finals cut looming. With rounds remaining at Queensland Raceway, The Bend Motorsport Park and the iconic Bathurst 1000, the PremiAir Racing team is pushing hard to break into that top 10 and earn their place at the championship decider.
Should Ojeda get the job done, it will be the Adelaide Street Circuit and an event that just got even bigger- where the championship battle is settled.
The 2026 Adelaide Grand Final launch this week revealed a series of major additions to an event that already attracts more than 285,000 fans. Headlining the announcements was a brand new on-track feature, the GT1 Race Club presented by GG Classic Cars, which will bring ultra-rare hypercars from Pagani, Bugatti, Ferrari and more to the Adelaide Street Circuit at racing speeds. A Pagani Huayra R Evo Roadster was unveiled at the launch to mark the occasion, giving fans a taste of what’s to come.
The Mega Rewards $50,000 Bounty also makes its return, once again putting a lucrative prize within reach of any driver brave enough to conquer Adelaide’s street circuit on Friday. It remains one of the event’s most compelling features, adding a high-stakes edge to an already dramatic weekend.
Supercars Executive Chairman Barclay Nettlefold said the event would set the stage for an unforgettable championship conclusion.
“The additions both on and off the track further enhance an event that is already one of the most anticipated on the Australian sporting calendar,” he said. “Combined with a championship-deciding battle on one of the world’s great street circuits, fans can expect an unforgettable weekend of racing and entertainment.”
Event Director Shaun Bennetts added: “The on-track excitement of the GT1 Race Club will be a unique opportunity for spectators, before the high stakes of the $50,000 Mega Rewards Bounty sets up an epic battle for victory.”
The on-track announcements sit alongside a strong off-track entertainment program already confirmed, including the return of NAPA Speedway in the City and the new Australian Rally Championship Festival.
For PremiAir Racing, the opportunity is clear. The team that works hardest over the next three rounds will be the team standing on Adelaide’s grid in November, fighting for a championship. We intend to be there.
