PremiAir Racing is pleased to announce an all-new driver line-up for the 2026 Supercars season, with Jayden Ojeda and Declan Fraser confirmed as joining the team.
These young guns have been making quite the names for themselves in recent times, including stellar performances at the 2025 Bathurst 1000.
A two-time Bathurst 6 Hour winner, Mercedes-AMG Junior Driver, 2018 Australian Formula 4 champion, 2019 Super3 runner-up, and Super 2 podium getter, Ojeda enjoyed his sixth straight appearance on the Mountain earlier this month, putting in a fantastic performance which showcased the talent the 26-year-old is known for as he helped position Ryan Wood for a fight for the win with PremiAir Racing’s Jimmy Golding. This backed up being in contention for a 1000 podium with Jack Le Brocq in 2024.
“I am wrapped to be joining PremiAir Racing from 2026. The journey this team has been on over the past few years is really inspiring, and the dedication from Peter and everyone involved makes this project one I’m genuinely excited about. To be stepping into a full-time Supercars seat is incredible and it’s a huge credit to all the people who’ve supported me from the start of my career.” Ojeda said.
“I can’t wait to join the team and play my part in the continued growth of this group. I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity and can’t thank Peter and Carmen enough. Here’s to hoping I can bring home some strong results next year to repay their faith in me.”
2022 Super2 Series champion Fraser also turned heads in Bathurst, co-driving alongside Andre Heimgartner and punching out a solid performance to ensure their entry was in the frame to challenge for a podium in the closing stages of the race – the entry would ultimately finish seventh, bettering Fraser’s previous best Bathurst result of eighth, which came with Craig Lowndes in a 2022 wildcard entry. The 25-year-old also has full-time experience, having driven for Tickford Racing across the 2023 season.
“I am extremely excited to be joining Premiair Racing for 2026 and into the future. I have seen the trajectory of the team in recent years, driven by Peter and Carmen’s strong desire to become a championship-contending team. With the introduction of key personnel to add to the already talented PremiAir Racing group, I am sure we can make that happen.” Fraser said.
“I cannot thank Peter and Carmen enough for their trust and support in selecting me to pilot the car and cannot wait to chase success in 2026!”
As he welcomes Ojeda and Fraser to the team, PremiAir Racing Team Owner Peter Xiberras was quick to praise the efforts of incumbent drivers, Jimmy Golding and Richie Stanaway, as they prepare for this weekend’s Gold Coast 500 (October 24-26).
“It gives me great pleasure to be able to announce Jayden and Declan as our drivers for 2026,” Xiberras said.
“They have more than proven themselves worthy of these drives in many different ways and myself and my team are looking forward to working with them next year as we work to claim more podiums and hopefully, our breakthrough race win.
“I want to take this opportunity to recognise Jimmy and Richie for their professionalism and commitment to keeping the PremiAir Racing Camaros competitive. Their Bathurst 1000 drive showed exactly the kind of talent and passion they bring to the sport, and I wish them all the best for the future.”
“While there is a lot of talk about 2026 at the moment, both for our team and throughout the Supercars paddock, we still have plenty of racing to do in 2025 including at the Gold Coast 500 this weekend, where we will be looking to round up our season on the best note possible.”
The announcement of Ojeda and Fraser today follows last week’s appointing of Roland Dane as Team Principal for 2026. For more information on that announcement, please click here.
