Jayden “Juice” Ojeda is carrying his 2026 form onto the international stage, claiming a podium finish at the Fuji 24 Hour in Japan.
Fresh from his standout performance at the Tyrepower Tasmania Super440, where he qualified third for the Sunday feature race, Ojeda headed to Fuji Speedway as part of a five-driver line-up for the Mercedes-AMG squad Craft-Bamboo Racing in Round 3 of the 2026 Super Taikyu season.
Sharing the #33 Craft-Bamboo Mercedes-AMG GT3 with Tom Kalender, Adderly Fong, Sun Jing Zu and Jeffrey Lee, the crew faced a tough challenge carrying 60kg of success ballast. A tyre puncture and a broken drive shaft during the race tested the entire squad, but strong teamwork kept them in contention throughout the night.
The quintet crossed the line in third place outright, another international podium for Ojeda to add to his growing résumé.
“We were fighting for the lead, but we had some issues throughout the night with a puncture and a driveshaft problem, but the team did an awesome job to get the car back on track quickly,” Ojeda said. “It felt good to cross the finish line after almost eight hours of drive time.”
The result continues a purple patch of form for the PremiAir Racing driver, who now turns his attention to a busy June schedule. Next up is GT World Challenge Australia at Queensland Raceway on June 12–14, before Ojeda returns to PremiAir Racing colours for Round 6 of the Repco Supercars Championship in Darwin the following weekend.
