The Darwin Triple Crown is just days away, and the weather forecast is looking like a classic Top End winter, warm, sunny and every bit the escape from the southern chill.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Hidden Valley Raceway is set for consistent conditions throughout the June 19–21 event, with temperatures hovering around 31 degrees each day.
Here’s the forecast for race weekend:
- Friday June 19: Min 21° / Max 31° — Chance of light rain (0–4mm)
- Saturday June 20: Min 21° / Max 31° — Slight chance of light rain (0–1mm)
- Sunday June 21: Min 21° / Max 31° — No rain forecast
A light shower is possible on Friday and Saturday mornings, but conditions are expected to clear for racing. Sunday looks to be a perfect day at the track.
It’s worth noting that Supercars has introduced new driver cooling rules this season, which come into effect when temperatures exceed 32.9 degrees. The PremiAir Racing crew will be well prepared to manage the heat for both Jayden “Juice” Ojeda and Declan Fraser.
