A MESSAGE FROM Peter Xiberras, PREMIAIR RACING’S OWNER
I started my National Hire business with my wife Carmen in a milking shed in Sydney’s Northwest, on my dad’s farm in Richmond, NSW, back in 1994. We first serviced air compressors, then extended into hiring out generators and lighting towers.
Today, PremiAir Hire is the equipment/solutions hire specialist for diesel and electric air compressors, dryers and filtration, skid and trailer-mounted silenced generators, lighting towers, traffic management equipment and sustainable event solutions.
I began my Top Fuel racing career in 2014, and my team and I are now the back-to-back Australian Top Fuel Champions (2021 and 2022). Alongside the championship wins, there have been plenty of unforgettable moments, including running the fastest 1000-foot pass in Australian history at the 2021 Winternationals,
Having a long association with Australian motorsport in 2022, I was ready for the challenges of spearheading a Supercars team. With the purchase of a team finalised six weeks before the start of the 2022 season, we delved head-first into PremiAir Racing’s first season.
Over a huge year, we consistently improved, securing Top Ten Shootout berths and top ten finishes towards the end of our rookie season. And with the new Gen3 era set to launch in 2023, we are excited to take things even further in our second season.
Dreams and goals are what life is made up of. Whether in business or racing, my dream is to be the best I can be, and the rewards will follow. I hope you can join myself and the team as we continue our pursuit of success in Australian motorsport, in Top Fuel, and the Supercars Championship.
I look forward to welcoming you back on track with us in 2023
