The Gold Coast 500 is about to get a new race-week tradition, and PremiAir Racing’s Declan Fraser was on hand at the launch.
Supercars has announced Track Club, a charity run around the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit taking place on the morning of Friday, October 23, ahead of the opening round of the 2026 Repco Supercars finals series. The event is led by Young Australian of the Year Nedd Brockmann, the endurance athlete renowned for his extraordinary feats and his tireless campaign against homelessness.
Fraser was part of the launch and made an impression almost immediately, lining up for a running race against Blanchard Racing Team driver James Golding, a former PremiAir team member whom Fraser knows well.
Up to 2,500 places are available for Track Club, with tickets priced from $99 for adults and $53 for children under 16. Supercars will donate $15 from every entry to the homelessness-focused charity Mobilise.
“What I love about this is seeing people getting active, taking on new challenges and helping our fellow Aussies in need at the same time,” said Brockmann. “Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just having a crack, you’ll get to be part of an incredible community and be involved in the Gold Coast 500 in a way very few people ever will.”
Supercars interim CEO Barclay Nettlefold described the event as a race-week tradition in the making. “Track Club powered by Boost Mobile is about much more than running. It’s a celebration of community and participation, helping create a race-week tradition where entertainment, music and Gold Coast culture all come together.”
