Roland Dane has confirmed Jayden “Juice” Ojeda will be in a PremiAir Racing seat for the 2027 Repco Supercars Championship, a vote of confidence in the team’s standout rookie who currently sits 13th in the championship, highest-ranked among all first-year drivers.
Dane has also addressed the status of Declan Fraser, whose future at the team for next season is still to be determined. “Declan, we have got an option on, but we’re probably nowhere near the point at which we actually make a call yet,” he told V8 Sleuth.
True to his nature as one of the most driven figures in Australian motorsport, Dane has been refreshingly direct about where the team stands and what it expects of itself. “I don’t think we lived up to our promise, really,” he said of Darwin. “We want to be in the top 10, minimum, all the time.”
That’s the standard Dane has always operated to, and it’s the same standard he’s bringing to PremiAir Racing. The team is in the middle of a genuine rebuild, starting to show the signs of progress that come with strong foundations, and there is no shortage of ambition in the Arundel workshop.
With Townsville, Perth, Queensland Raceway and more still to come in 2026, there’s plenty of racing left to shape both the standings and what next year’s lineup looks like.
