PremiAir Racing is pleased to announce that David Russell and Nash Morris will continue on with the team as its endurance season co-drivers for the 2026 Supercars season.
Russell will mark his third consecutive year with PremiAir Racing by partnering with Jayden Ojeda for The Bend 500 and Bathurst 1000 next year, while Morris will team up with Declan Fraser for his second year as a PremiAir co-driver.
‘D-Russ’ is an indisputable endurance specialist and a highly respected member of the Supercars paddock. He has been a part of both of PremiAir Racing’s podiums to date – third at the 2024 Sandown 500 (followed by P6 at that year’s 1000), and third at the 2025 Bathurst 1000, both while partnering Jimmy Golding.
The 2025 result at Mount Panorama marked the third time he had stood on the ‘Great Race’ podium, after having claimed 3rd in 2021 and 2nd in 2023 with Brodie Kostecki; and joins a long list of other successes at the iconic race track, including results in every Bathurst Production Car / GT endurance race format, which also sits alongside an impressive record of international GT racing successes.
Nash Morris partnered with Richie Stanaway for the 2025 endurance season in what the first Main Game experience for the son of Bathurst winner Paul Morris, with their entry coming exceptionally close to challenging for a podium in the final stages of the drenched 1000 before a race-ending contact with the wall for Stanaway.
The 23-year-old is a former Super3 Series Champion and is currently third on the 2025 Super2 Championship standings. He broke through for his first Super2 race win at Symmons Plains earlier this year – one of three times he has stood on the podium so far this year from 10 races completed.
“I am very pleased to be able to confirm that both David Russel and Nash Morris will be returning with PremiAir Racing for the 2026 Supercars endurance season,” PremiAir Racing Team Owner, Peter Xiberras, said.
“Obviously D-Russ has been racing with us for a while now and he is a fantastic fit for our team, bringing not only a presence which is great for our team morale, but also plenty of experience and valuable insights which have helped us to continue our growth and improve our performance on many levels.
“We all greatly appreciate what he brings to the team and how he works with all of us. We are really looking forward to continuing our relationship with him into 2026, this time as co-driver to Jayden Ojeda, who we are sure will benefit from his mentorship across the enduros.
“Nash ‘The Flash’ Morris meanwhile is a strong up-and-coming talent and someone who throughout the 2025 endurance season really impressed us with not only his skill, but also his enthusiasm, his dedication, and how he has fit into the PremiAir Racing group as a whole.
“It has been a pleasure to work with him this year and to have him continuing on with us for another year, this time partnering fellow young gun Declan Fraser, is something that we are excited about.”
