PremiAir Racing is pleased to confirm the race numbers under which Jayden Ojeda and Declan Fraser will compete across the 2026 Supercars Championship.
The #31 will adorn the PremiAir Racing Camaro driven by Ojeda, while Fraser will carry #777 – continuing PremiAir Racing’s unique tradition of allowing its drivers to choose their own race numbers.
For Ojeda, the significance of the #31 harks back to his earliest days of racing.
“The #31 was my number all through karting, from my first race to my last race,” he explained.
“To have the opportunity to use it for my first full-time season in Supercars is awesome, and (being able to have input into the numbers) certainly gives us drivers a feeling of ownership for our race cars.
“I initially chose the #31 as I was born on the 31st of July. Now it reminds me of all of the memories of times spent with my family through karting, and the journey we have travelled to arrive to where we are today.”
For Fraser, the personal connection to #777 is one of more recent times, with an added allure coming from the fact it is a rare number within Supercars; having appeared in only 40 ATCC/Supercars Championship races to date.
“I won the Super2 Championship carrying the #777 in 2022, and after that I even had it tattooed on my body,” Fraser said.
“Clearly, it is something pretty close to me now.
“While personally significant for that reason, it is a very cool number in and of itself, and given that it is one that is relatively rare in Supercars, I am pretty stoked to be able to play a part in bringing it back to the grid.”
PremiAir Racing team owner Peter Xiberras said he was looking forward to seeing the #31 and #777 in full flight across the upcoming Supercars season.
“I have always liked to give my drivers the chance to choose their own race numbers, as I think it gives them that sense of ownership and a connection with their car right from the outset,” Xiberras explained.
“I am very pleased with the numbers the boys have selected. Obviously #31 was on Jimmy Golding’s entry last year, but ‘Juice’ has his own reasons for selecting this number and we will be proud to see him carry on his history with these digits with us this season.
“Just as the #31 does for Jayden, the #777 represents great success and carries deep personal significance for Declan. To be able to make it happen for him that he can carry the #777 for his return to full-time Supercars duties with us is something we are very happy about. And the fact it is a rare number as far as Supercars goes is pretty cool as well!
“It has been a very busy off-season as we look to ensure we can launch into our fifth Supercars season in the best way possible. The first round of 2026 will be here before we know it, and we are heading to Sydney with big goals in mind for the year ahead.”
Round one of the 2026 Supercars Championship will be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 20-22. For event information, visit www.supercars.com
