The PremiAir Nulon Racing team will now prepare overnight for a big day of action tomorrow which will feature practice two (11.05am), knock-out qualifying (1.00pm) and the first of two races for the weekend (4.10pm), with work to be undertaken to fix a gearbox issue for the #31 and to make a number of improvements for the #23.

QUOTEBOARD: TASMANIA SUPERSPRINT – FRIDAY 16 AUGUST, 2024

Jimmy Golding – #31 PremiAir Nulon Racing Camaro

“It has been a pretty good day and a good start to the weekend, to roll out P2 for practice one is really good. The last time we saw this (early result) we had a pretty good weekend, so I am looking forward to seeing what we can do this time around.”

Romy Mayer – Race Engineer for the #31 PremiAir Nulon Racing Camaro

“We are quite happy with that. We got through a lot of set up changes where we learned about the race car; we had some issues with the gearbox which we need to fix overnight, but we got a good lap in for our quali run so we have a good base for tomorrow that we can work from.”

Tim Slade – #23 PremiAir Nulon Racing Camaro

“It was not a bad day. The things that we need to improve on are pretty clear so we will see what we can do there – it would be nice if it is dry tomorrow so we can get a read on the changes we will make overnight, but it could be a different ballgame with it looking a bit wet. So, we will just have to see what happens.”
