What’s the Weather Doing at Townsville This Weekend?

Townsville in July is about as reliable as the North Queensland sun, and for Supercars fans heading to Reid Park for the Townsville 500, that’s very good news.

The city is firmly in the grip of its dry season, which means clear skies, low humidity and near-perfect conditions for racing. Unlike some circuits where weather can be the wildcard, Townsville typically delivers the kind of weekend that lets the racing do the talking.

Here’s the Weekend Weather Watch:

  • Friday 10th: 16° Min Max, 26° Mostly sunny morning. Slight chance of a shower, most likely in the afternoon.
  • Saturday 11th: 15° Min Max, 26° Mostly sunny morning.
  • Sunday 12th: Another brilliant winter’s day in the Ville – 15° Min Max, 26° Mostly sunny morning.

For PremiAir Racing’s Jayden “Juice” Ojeda and Declan Fraser, ideal conditions mean ideal racing- no excuses, no variables. Just fast cars and clean air at Reid Park.

See you in Townsville. 🏁
